Only the best !

Since its inception 2010 Kurakats has strived for excellence.

In so many ways;

Pt1. Starting with birth,

 Lisa and I have played midwife for several hours at a time taking turns sitting in a very uncomfortable position,
calming our expectant mothers, we deliver new kittens tie and cut most umbilical’s,
Over the next few weeks mom cleans them indiscriminately,
this can lead hazard adding to this issue as the kittens grow they battle,
during this to umbilical and eye infection, the kittens belly buttons need special attention,
twice a day we swab the fresh umbilical to prevent infection.
Two kittens did die from this infection in 2011.
Eye infection is another Kat play it is inevitable that Kat fingers poke Kat eyes after using Kat litter box this also can lead to infection,
so we closely monitor the kitten’s eyes and use sterile wipes and tobramycin rinse when necessary.
